You can apply for a permanent
position or casual vacancy.
Permanent vacancies mean that
you use the centre for the same session (morning and/or
afternoon) each week. Casual vacancies allow you to
use the centre on an as needs basis depending on when you
need the care and what is available. Regardless of
your requirement, families need to complete enrolment as
follows:
Step 1:
Before you enrol at
Gladesville Before & After School (GBASC) you will
need to read the GBASC Family Handbook
which contains information about the centre. A full copy of
the GPBASC Policy manual is available for parents to view at
the centre on the sign in/out desk.
Step 2:
Families
must register for Child Care Benefit (CCB) and the Child
Care Rebate (CCR) by contacting the Family Assistance Office
(FAO) on 13 61 50 and giving the Centre’s Provider Numbers:

To claim Child Care Benefit (CCB)
or Child Care Rebate (CCR) you need to be assessed and
approved for those payments by the Family Assistance Office
(FAO). The FAO issues Customer Reference Numbers (CRNs) for
you and your child/ren.
You must provide the CRN and
the date of birth of the parent who is claiming CCB and the
CRN and the date of birth of your child/ren. With this
information, GBASC is able to report your child’s
attendance information through the financial year and,
depending on the payment method you choose, receive Fee
Reduction payments on your behalf.

Step 3:
Next you will need to print
and complete our Enrolment Form. An enrolment form must be filled in
annually for each child that attends GBASC. GBASC provide
childcare places in accordance with the Australian
Government’s Priority of Access Guidelines. Please refer to
the centre’s Service Access Policy for further
information.
The following information and
fees must be provided with the completed Enrolment Form for
your child/ren’s application to be processed:

Annual enrolment fee per family is $55.00
(GST inclusive)
- Bond payment of $50.00 is charged with
enrolment which is refunded upon leaving GPBASC.

each child

Copy of each
child’s immunisation record

Medicare number
and doctor’s details

Emergency contact
details
-
CRN and date of
birth for each child and parent (who is claiming CCB)
Step 4:
Return your completed
Enrolment Form to the centre prior to your child attending.
Please ensure all forms are completed and relevant documents
are attached. All enrolments are handled by the Coordinator
or Assistant Coordinator. They will process your form and notify
you via email or phone if there is a place available for your child/ren
and when they can start.
